I recently received a call from a customer inquiring about the Guardian Air. Her husband has been sick since 2000. He had been experiencing black outs, stroke like symptoms, unable to speak clearly and could not make sense of his thoughts. This gentleman had been to many doctors, even the Lahey Clinic, to try and diagnosis his condition. They could not come up with a specific diagnosis however they did find that he does have chemical sensitivity. The current issue that they attributed to triggering his problems stem from the fact that the weather has been very humid and there may be mold in the home. We purchased an Aerus Purification system a little more than a month ago.
We cannot believe that such an investment would tremendously help the health of my son.
For starters here is how our story unfolds.
Our son developed beautifully and reached all the age appropriate milestones until he reached 15 months. He started having severe sensitivity to foods and pollen, dander, dust mites and animals. Slowly and surely we tried to deviate my son’s exposure to anything that would trigger inflammation due to a weakened immune system. He slept very little and would wake up quite often during the night. In addition he had started developing snoring and stopped breathing several times a night. We brought him to an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist and an X ray was done. He had chronic sinusitis. It was later recommended that he undergo a sleep apnea test. We ended up doing it at the Montreal Children Hospital. My son has Central Sleep Apnea and obstructive Sleep apnea. He also has enlarged Adenoids. However, believe it or not since we have had the Aerus Purification system in my son’s bedroom 24/7, he snores very little and I have not heard him stop breathing in a long time. He also sleeps for longer periods and does not wake up. We have placed the Guardian Air Purification system in his new bedroom and are hoping to purchase another one for other parts of the house.

My grandfather has a lot of breathing problems caused from smoking from all of his life, he only stopped after the doctor put him in oxygen and nebulizer treatments. Not surprisingly, it was my grandmother who had developed the larger interest in the product in hopes that it would help my grandfather and his breathing issues, he felt that it was "Nothing more than a bunch of foolishness." In the end, my grandmother won the battle of wills and it has been in their house for almost a month now.
After the first day of it being in their house my grandmother called me to say that for the first time in about fifteen years my grandfather slept through the night without waking up from shortness of breath. I visited them a week later and asked him what he thought of the air purifier. His response was; "I didn't have nothing to do with that, that's something your grandmother wanted in the house, and that's the way it is." After having it in his house for almost four weeks, the story has changed, now instead of having to breath pure oxygen all night long, he only needs to breath it in for a couple of hours, and instead of taking daily nebulizer treatments, he is taking treatments every two or three days. You couldn't pay him enough money to take that out of the house now that his health has improved tremendously.
